HOW TO PREPARE

You can use this marinade for steak and chicken wings too.


Serves 4. Cooking time is short.



INGREDIENTS

24 peeled and de-veined prawns
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp chilli sauce
½ inch fresh ginger
2 tbsp soya sauce
1 tbsp dry sherry or wine
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Satay sticks
Lemon for garnish

METHOD

Grind the ginger finely. Mix with the rest of the ingredients. Add the prawns and mix well to marinate.

 

Thread 2 to 3 prawns on each skewer ready for grilling. Heat on a hot grill turning once until cooked.
