HOW TO PREPARE


Serves 1. Cooking time is short.



INGREDIENTS

4 sausages
1 clove of garlic, crushed
½ tbsp of chopped parsley
Tsp chilli flakes
6 slices white bread
30g cheddar cheese
2 rashers of bacon
1 Portobello mushroom, sliced
2 eggs
1 tbsp ketchup
Butter

METHOD

Combine the sausage meat with the garlic, parsley and chilli flakes and make into patties.  Pan fry in a little butter.

Cut the bread into rings using a pastry cutter and cut slices of cheese using the same cutter.  Make sandwiches and pan fry with a little butter to brown the bread and melt the cheese.

Cook the bacon and mushrooms in a shallow pan.  Fry the eggs.

Serve the patties on top of the toasted sandwiches, scatter the mushrooms, and then layer the bacon and fried eggs on top.   Serve with ketchup on the side.
