CAN YOU BOIL AN EGG TOO MUCH?
I'm not a great cook. My new boyfriend (hard won may I add) is staying over for the first time next weekend and I want to make him a great cooked breakfast. He loves hard boiled eggs but not runny (don't ask me how I know this!). Can I stuff it up? If I boil it too long will it be horrible? Obviously it's in a shell - how will I know????? *So* want to make a good impression......

it is a hard one,but,what i do is put the eggs in a pan,boil the water then cook for about 4 or 5 mins.i hope this helps you a little bit.you can t...

If it were up to me I'd make him a bacon buttie. Much easier that trying to time an egg! Just get some really nice bread like ciabatta or sour doug...
