RED GNOCCHI

Steve Stewart

I came up with this while daydreaming about food one day, tried it and loved it and anyone I've cooked it for has loved it too! It's extremely easy too, AND you can do it with 5 ingredients.

METHOD

It's VERY easy.

Fry up some chilli and garlic in a little olive oil. Add the chorizo, fry for 30 secs, then add some red wine and fry both together for a couple of minutes.

Add the peppadew peppers, chopped roughly and with a generous amount of the juice from the jar - which should add a nice amount of heat.

Put the gnocchi on - it'll only take a few minutes. Don't overcook it.

Turn the heat down and add the cream. Remember the gnocchi is going in here, so you'll want a decent amount of liquid. Stir in and keep stirring and tasting. Add more wine for taste and more peppadew pepper liquid for taste and heat. Keep stirring so the cream doesn't go funny.

When that's all cooked together for a few minutes, add the gnocchi and stir in and cook all together for a minute or too.

Serve and eat! Yum.
