ABOUT OUR CHEF

Rustie Lee was the celebrity chef on TVam for 8 years.

 

She made her first appearance on TV-am as a contributor to the Saturday edition of Good Morning Britain. Her lively cookery spots and infectious laugh made her an instant hit and she became a daily fixture.

 

Rustie, also an entertainer, author and restaurant owner in the 1980s, has presented many other cookery slots on television, drawing on her Caribbean background for inspiration.

 

Her TVam recipe for Caribbean Christmas Cake was one of the most successful the show has known.

 

At the last general election Rustie Lee was a candidate for the UK Independence Party.
